Get Ready for a College Football Weekend Like No Other

The thrill and excitement of the 2022 College Football Playoff National Championship culminates in a weekend of events that will have the city buzzing as downtown Indy transforms into Championship Campus. You can expect a fan-friendly, walkable footprint featuring a comprehensive festival of attractions and activities starting Saturday, January 8 through Monday, January 10. 

Throughout the weekend, guests will enjoy Championship Campus by experiencing CFP signature events such as Playoff Fan Central, AT&T Playoff Playlist Live!, Allstate Championship Tailgate, Media Day, Extra Yard 5K and Taste of the Championship.

Playoff Central

PLAYOFF FAN CENTRAL
January 8 - 10 | Indiana Convention Center

Playoff Fan Central is a interactive experience that gives thousands of fans the opportunity to be a part of the College Football Playoff National Championship.

The three-day, family-friendly event, to be held at the Indiana Convention Center, will include games, clinics, pep rallies, band performances, special guest appearances, autograph signings and exhibits celebrating college football and its history. Playoff Fan Central creates memories that last a lifetime.

AT&T PLaylist Live

AT&T PLAYOFF PLAYLIST LIVE!
January 8 - 9 | Monument Circle

AT&T Playoff Playlist Live! will bring a weekend of music to Indianapolis, serving as the soundtrack for the 2022 College Football Playoff National Championship. The free concert series kicks off Saturday, January 8 and continues on Sunday, January 9, leading up to the national championship game on Monday, January 10. Click Here for Map.

Teachers 5K

EXTRA YARD 5K
January 9 | 10:00 A.M.

The Extra Yard 5K is the official road race of the College Football Playoff. The family-friendly 3.1-mile run/walk starts in the Indiana Convention Center and takes participants through the streets of downtown Indianapolis. The post-race tailgate party will feature live entertainment, activities with race sponsors, an awards ceremony and more. Proceeds benefit the CFP Foundation’s Extra Yard for Teachers initiative. Ekrich Taste of the Championship

TASTE OF THE CHAMPIONSHIP
January 9 | Indiana State Museum

Taste of the Championship is a premium dining experience and fundraising event, offering local residents and national championship game attendees the opportunity to indulge in gourmet food and drink prepared by local chefs in support of the College Football Playoff (CFP) Foundation.

Extra Yard for Teachers Summit

EXTRA YARD FOR TEACHERS SUMMIT
January 8 | NCAA Hall of Champions Conference Center

The 2022 Extra Yard for Teachers Summit Powered by Get Your Teach On is the CFP Foundation’s annual flagship event designed to empower and inspire educators with guest speakers, giveaways, networking experiences, and professional development. In-person attendees will enjoy food, music, drinks, a prize bag and a post-summit reception. Virtual attendance is free for Indiana teachers!


Allstate Tailgate Plaza

ALLSTATE CHAMPIONSHIP TAILGATE 
January 10 | Monument Circle

Allstate Championship Tailgate is the gathering place for fans who want to experience extreme tailgating leading up to the 2022 national Championship game. Prior to kickoff on Monday, January 10, the stage at Monument Circle will be transformed into the Capital One Stage at Allstate Championship Tailgate.

Georgia Street

GEORGIA STREET 

The Indianapolis Host Committee will activate Georgia Street as a gateway from concerts on Monument Circle to interactive fan experiences inside the Indiana Convention Center. The space will feature a programmed stage on the west block closest to the Indiana Convention Center with local bands and DJs. It will also include concessions, roaming street performers, professional ice carvers, warming stations, and large video screens for concert viewing.
